Jay Rose – Principal Solicitor

Ms Jay Rose is the Principal Solicitor at Rosegold Legal.  Jay completed all studies at the Queensland University of Technology – Brisbane.

 

Jay completed a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Arts (Justice Studies) With Distinction (2002), and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (2003).

 

Jay was admitted as solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2004. Jay has practiced in private law firms and legal aid areas since that time. Jay is also listed on the High Court Roll and able to appear and practice in the Federal Jurisdiction, primarily in Family Law Matters.

 

Jay commenced Rosegold Legal in May 2019 in Kingaroy.

 

Jay cares deeply about helping people and has dedicated her professional life to providing access to legal services for everyone in the latter years. Jay is experienced in Family Law, Domestic Violence Matters, Child Protection Matters and Criminal Law. Jay has worked all over Queensland, in both regional, rural and urban settings, with a current focus in the South Burnett area, based in Kingaroy.

 

Rosegold Legal holds membership with the Queensland Law Society and is insured by Lexon insurance.

 

Jay is an accredited Criminal law duty lawyer through Legal Aid Queensland for both Adults and Children’s court.

YVETTE VALDEZ - SOLICITOR

Yvette began working at Rosegold Legal in January 2021 on student placement and has since graduated with a Juris Doctor Second Class Honours and a Post graduate diploma in legal practice - Bond University, Gold Coast Campus.  Yvette was admitted as a solicitor in October 2021 and now continues to work at our firm.

 

Yvette is an accredited Criminal law duty lawyer through Legal Aid Queensland for both Adults and Children’s court.

 

Yvette has a history of working with children as a qualified teacher for over a decade.

TESSA CHRISTENSEN - ADMINISTRATION

Tessa joined Rosegold Legal in 2021 and is an exceptionally organised client focused administration assistant.  Tessa has several years’ experience in administration/reception roles.  In 2023 Tessa elected to take a casual role to focus on studying for her Bachelor of Justice/Bachelor of Laws with Queensland University of Technology – Brisbane. She looks forward to maintaining her skills through Rosegold Legal, and to continuing to provide support to clients.
